Highland Lighthouse aka Cape Cod Light, the oldest light house on Cape Cod, North Truro, Massachusetts, USA. The original light station was commisioned by George Washington in 1797. The current lighthouse and keepers house were built in 1857. Also known as the Highland Light Station, it is located on the Cape Cod National Seashore and is an active aid to navigation.
