Eastham Windmill, Eastham, Cape Cod, Massachusetts in silhouette with sun flare behind it, October 2015. Power lines have been digitally removed behind and along the left side of the image. Originally built in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1680, the landmark structure was moved to Truro in 1770, to Eastham in 1793 and then moved to its current location in 1808. A working windmill, in the summer it is used to grind cornmeal, sales of which help finance its upkeep. It is the oldest windmill on Cape Cod.
