East Chop Lighthouse, Oak Bluffs, Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod, Massachusetts USA in early September with white picket fence and clear blue sky copy space room for text. Private lighthouses stood on this spot until the government built the current cast iron tower in 1878. It stands on Telegraph Hill and overlooks Vineyard Haven Harbor and Vineyard Haven Sound. It is an active aid to navigation with a blinking green light.
