A couple months after the Covid-19 lockdown began in New York, in spring 2020, I was walking through my neighborhood with my camera, honestly, not feeling particularly inspired, when I caught the light coming through the trees and felt a ray of hope.
Ironically, it also made me think of those who we have lost and who we continue to lose during this pandemic, as many who have had near death experiences say they see a white light as they approach death. Is this also a sign of hope that there is something beyond this life on the other side?
