Abstract stylized blush pink water lily with hints of pale yellow and mauve. Beautiful colors are found on the underside of the turquoise lily pad, surrounded by water in relaxing shades of blue, turquoise and green. Soothing color scheme with a bright joyful flower. A modern interpretation of nature. Part of a mixed media digital art series based on the Mexican water lily, Nymphaea mexicana, aka yellow waterlily or banana waterlily. Although native to the gulf coast, these ornamental plants can be seen in quiet lakes and ponds throughout North America. This one lis based on a photograph taken in my native New York.
