Castle Hill LIghthouse overlooking the water of Narragansett Bay, Newport, Rhode Island, USA. The beautiful granite tower completed in 1890 is built right into the face of the cliff. The light house was automated in 1957. It is still an active navigational aid for ships in Narragansett Bay heading toward Providence and Newport, RI. Early September 2009.
