The shell of a sea urchin, scientific name, Echinoidea, in a retro green tin bucket sits on sandy beach .I have quoted from a favorite of mine, A Gift from the Sea by Anne Morrow Lindbergh. One cannot collect all the beautiful shells on the beach. One can collect only a few, and they are more beautiful if they are few.
I had the priviledge of interviewing Anne Morrow Lindbergh once as well as hearing her speak many years ago when she visited Smith College, our shared alma mater.
This illustration started in my camera, which has special software to make an illustration right in the camera. I then added some hand painted tembellishments via my tablet.
