I originally took this photograph for a challenge to shoot photos of active seniors. While I am a senior myself and have plenty of active friends, none of them have gray hair so they do not look the part of the sterotypical active retiree or pensioner. So, as I had just started exploring the world of toy photography, I ordered some gray haired minifigure parts an made my own seniors.
Coincidentally, during Covid I began exploring evidence based art for healthcare settings, and this image, with its calming green tones and nature inspired imagery would be great in a physical therapy center to encourage patients to work toward getting back to an activity they love such as hiking or birdwatching , or in an active adult community room to make those who are young at heart recognize themselves and smile.
